I may be the Bambino of the Fiddle Leaf Fig family but I don’t sit in anyone's shadow. I’m a little more on the indoor plant compact side, but that doesn’t stop me from being in the spotlight in your home! Oh and keep me out of draughty areas to keep me happy! Being the baby I love living the Jardin Terrazzo Pot in Pink.
This is a dwarf compact form of the popular Fiddle Leaf Fig but with smaller leaves. Usually consists of a single trunk however can be double planted for bigger impact! Suitable for both indoors and outdoors - they are a tree after all!
Your new Ficus Bambino comes in three sizes and if kept inside can grow up to approximately 1m in height.
Medium: 20cm-30cm in height. Planted in a 140mm black nursery pot.
Large: 30cm-50cm in height. Planted in a 200mm black squat nursery pot.
X-Large: 50cm-80cm in height. Planted in a 250mm black nursery pot.
Water regularly leaving the top of the soil to dry out in between waterings and prefers to be homed in a bright room with some direct sunlight. Remember to keep leaves dust free by wiping them regularly with our Leaf Shine and trim lower brown leaves to encourage new growth. Rotate the plant every week as the leaves bend towards the light and this plant looks best with an even display of leaves. Fertilise in warmer months.
Feeding your indoor plants
To get the best out of your indoor plants, you will need to feed them some food. The Good Plant Co Indoor Plant Food will provide all the nutrients they need to grow more leaves and help them stay strong. When the plant is actively growing during the warmer months, it needs a bit more food and water. During the slow growing season (cooler winter months) your plant doesn’t eat or drink as much (no extra winter layer of fat for these babies). Sometimes it’s ok to be a helicopter parent – respond to your plant’s needs. To keep the dust off your beautiful indoor plant leaves use The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine. Moral of the story, if it is growing new leaves then it will need more water and food!
We take great care in growing, packaging, and shipping your new plants so they’re ready to thrive in your home. This includes keeping them safe while they travel from our wholesale nursery to your doorstep.
