Online Orders 

Will I receive the exact plant in the photograph on the product page?

As we are dealing with a living object the plant that you will receive will be the same species as the website however will not be that physical plant from the photograph. We release new stock to our website every week and work very hard at keeping our heights and descriptions updated from release to release so please refer to the descriptions and heights on each product page for a more actual understanding of the product you will receive. If the product you receive differs from the description and height outlined on the product page please feel free to email us at hello@thegoodplantco.com.au

Please note for Plants - our Decorative Pots are sold separately. For Decorative Pots - our Plants are sold separately unless indicated otherwise. When ordering decorative pots we recommend you match the pot size to the plant size - for example, if ordering a large plant you will need a large decorative pot.

Can you pot my plant into the decorative pot?

All of our plants come potted in a black plastic nursery pot which just sits inside the decorative pot. We are unable to plant your plant straight into the decorative pot. Our decorative pots do not have drainage holes in the bottom of them. 

All of our plants come potted in fresh soil and we would recommend waiting at least 30-60 days before doing any repotting into different soil.

How is my plant packaged & shipped out?

Your plant’s journey is a priority for us and we want to ensure that it arrives safely to you. Each plant is boxed individually and will be sent with the pot you have ordered. If you have only ordered the plant, it will be sent in its black plastic pot. The boxes we use match the size of the plant you have ordered. We have boxes in the sizes micro, small, medium and large. You will get the box size that matches your plant size!

Our plants leave the nursery in Queensland with enough water to last its journey to its new home. We also use coir fibre, which is a natural fibre from the husk of a coconut and is totally biodegradable and environmentally friendly. It also helps to hold in the extra moisture to the plant when it leaves our nursery and is a super cute addition to your new plant (you can use it to prop your plant up in its pot or nestle around it to add some more aesthetic appeal). Your plant will also come with a fact sheet – so be sure to keep your eyes out for this!

Minimal waste and environmentally friendly packaging is a priority for us. All the materials we use in the packing are biodegradable or can be recycled. We use Team GE and Aramex couriers who know the delicate nature of our plants. We have 'authority to leave' on all of our parcels so if they need to be left unattended, they will be left in a secure, shady spot.

What if I need to change or cancel my order?

Please contact us at hello@thegoodplantco.com.au as soon as possible if you would like to change or cancel your order. We'll do our best to process your request. There's a human behind each response! Please allow up to 2 business days for us to get back to you. Please note in the event we are to cancel your order and provide a refund, the refund will be processed immediately however returned funds can sometimes take 5-10 business days to show back in your bank account depending on your bank.

What if I need to change my shipping address?

Please contact us at hello@thegoodplantco.com.au as soon as possible if you need to change your shipping address. We process orders quickly, but we'll do our best to process your request.

What if I forget to use my discount code at the checkout?

Oh no! Unfortunately, we are unable to apply discount codes to orders after they have been placed. If your code is still active, be sure to use it on a future order. If you have any further questions, please contact us at hello@thegoodplantco.com.au.

Unfortunately, we are unable to apply a discount for a promotion that launched after you placed your order. Don’t worry! We promise we’ll have another exciting promotion for you in the future.

My plant looks a bit wilted on delivery?

Oh no! Your new baby has been on a very long journey to his new home! He’s very thirsty! Please give him a big drink of water and a few days to settle in. If there are any further issues, please contact us asap with some plant selfies and we’ll do our best to help you both out!
