Welcome to the A-list. I'm the Monstera Adansonii Mint - the Swiss Cheese Vine dipped in frost. My mottled mint-and-cream variegation is a genuine chlorophyll shortage, which is why I grow slower, cost more and get discussed in collector group chats. Scarcity economics, but leafy.

Keep my frosty patches bright with plenty of indirect light (gentle morning sun is fine), keep me clear of draughts, and let my top few centimetres of soil dry between drinks. Every plant's patterning is one of a kind - first in, best variegated.

What you'll get (no surprises):

  • Medium - 140mm nursery pot, approx 10-30cm
  • Large - 200mm nursery pot, approx 50-90cm
  • X-Large - 250mm nursery pot, our biggest specimens

Pets: collector's item, not a chew toy - toxic if nibbled.

Treat me to the full spa: the Leaf Shine & Plant Food Duo. And a Pierre Terrazzo Pot in White makes my mint sing.

🌱 One tree planted with every order.

Key attributes

Widely regarded as one of the trendiest plants to own, the Monstera Adansonii Mint is a true collector’s piece. As it matures, its signature holes (fenestrations) and deep lobes become more pronounced, giving it that unmistakable Monstera look. Its standout feature is the minty variegation — cool splashes and marbled patterns of creamy white and soft green scattered across each leaf, like a frosted constellation. Naturally inclined to climb, this beauty will happily trail from a pot or scramble up a totem or wall for a lush, cascading effect.

  • Bright with some direct sunlight.
  • Water sparingly, soil to be almost dry.
  • Mostly safe, could cause digestive upset if ingested.

Your new Monstera Adansonii Mint comes in three sizes.

Medium: 10cm-30cm in height. Planted in a 140mm black nursery pot

Large: 30cm-50cm in height. Planted in a 180mm black nursery pot

X-Large: 50cm-90cm in height. Planted in a 200mm black nursery pot

Please note our decorative pots are sold separately.

Care mode

Keep moist during the warmer month periods and generally drier during the winter cooler months. Leaves with a lot of variegation need protection from sunlight.

Feeding your indoor plants

To keep your Monstera Adansonii Mint looking lush and beautifully variegated, you’ll want to keep it well fed. The Good Plant Co Indoor Plant Food gives it all the nutrients it needs to grow more fenestrated leaves and stay strong. When your plant is actively growing in the warmer months, it will need a little more food and water. During the slower growing season (those cooler winter months), it doesn’t eat or drink as much — no extra winter layer of fat for this one!

Sometimes it’s perfectly fine to be a helicopter plant parent — just respond to your Monstera’s needs. Keep those minty leaves dust-free and glowing with The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine. Moral of the story: if it’s pushing out fresh new leaves, it’s asking for more water and food! 🌿✨

We take great care in growing, packaging, and shipping your new plants so they’re ready to thrive in your home. This includes keeping them safe while they travel from our wholesale nursery to your doorstep.
