Our Swiss Cheese Plant - the leaf that launched a thousand prints. I'm the Monstera Deliciosa, and my famous holes (fenestrations, if we're being fancy) appear as my leaves mature, like a plant growing into its own tattoos.

Like cheese needs crackers, I'll eventually want a moss-covered stake to lean on - otherwise I sprawl as wild as that forgotten cheddar in your fridge. My name means 'delicious monster', because in the wild I produce a fruit that tastes like pineapple crossed with banana. Indoors, I stick to producing compliments.

What you'll get (no surprises):

  • Medium - 140mm nursery pot, a young plant approx 15cm+
  • Large - 200mm nursery pot, approx 50-75cm tall
  • X-Large - 250mm nursery pot, approx 80cm tall

Medium-to-bright indirect light, water when the top half of my soil dries. I'm famously forgiving.

Pets: monster by name, mild menace to nibblers - keep me out of reach.

Give my future stems a Coconut Coir Totem to climb, keep my icons glossy with Leaf Shine, and ground the look with a Cooper Pot in Black.

🌱 One tree planted with every order.

Feeding your indoor plants

To get the best out of your indoor plants, you will need to feed them some food. The Good Plant Co Indoor Plant Food will provide all the nutrients they need to grow more leaves and help them stay strong. When the plant is actively growing during the warmer months, it needs a bit more food and water. During the slow growing season (cooler winter months) your plant doesn’t eat or drink as much (no extra winter layer of fat for these babies). Sometimes it’s ok to be a helicopter parent – respond to your plant’s needs. To keep the dust off your beautiful indoor plant leaves use The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine. Moral of the story, if it is growing new leaves then it will need more water and food!

We take great care in growing, packaging, and shipping your new plants so they’re ready to thrive in your home. This includes keeping them safe while they travel from our wholesale nursery to your doorstep.
