Yeehaw, partner. I'm the San Pedro Cactus - a columnar classic from the high Andes, where I've been growing on mountainsides for a few thousand years. I bring genuine wild-west silhouette energy to sunrooms, patios and bright corners, and unlike most cacti, I actually grow fast: up to 30cm a year when I'm happy.

Care is gloriously simple: the sunniest position you own, water only when my soil has completely dried out, and sharp drainage always. Overwatering is the only duel I ever lose.

Care Tips

Don’t let your plants get hangry! To get the best out of your plants, you will need to feed them some food. A good balanced fertiliser (plant food) will provide plants with all the nutrients they need to grow more leaves and help them stay strong.

When the plant is actively growing during the warmer months, it needs a bit more food and water. During the slow growing season (cooler winter months) your plant doesn’t eat or drink as much (no extra winter layer of fat for these babies).
