Marble Queen Pothos
Epipremium Aureum
The plant, by the plant
Long may I reign. I'm the Marble Queen - the pothos in the cream-marbled gown, every leaf swirled differently because my white sections contain no chlorophyll at all. (Royal decree: the green parts do the photosynthesising; the cream parts just look expensive.)
That regal colouring makes me a touch slower-growing than my plain green cousins, but every bit as forgiving: low to bright indirect light - brighter keeps my marble bold - and water when the topsoil dries. Place me up high; queens prefer the view, safely beyond the reach of pets. I mean peasants. I mean pets.
What you'll get (no surprises):
- Medium - 140mm nursery pot, a young starter
- Large - 200mm nursery pot, fuller and trailing
- X-Large - 250mm nursery pot, approx 50-100cm trained up a totem
Pets: royalty bites back - toxic if chewed.
Give my trails a throne: the Wren Macrame Hanger. Feed the kingdom with Indoor Plant Food.

Care tips
Prefers the soil to be left to dry in between waterings. When watering, water the plant with water slowly from above, allowing water to soak through to the roots, then tip out excess water. Fertilise in warmer months.
Feeding
To get the best out of your indoor plants, you will need to feed them some food. The Good Plant Co Indoor Plant Food will provide all the nutrients they need to grow more leaves and help them stay strong. When the plant is actively growing during the warmer months, it needs a bit more food and water. During the slow growing season (cooler winter months) your plant doesn’t eat or drink as much (no extra winter layer of fat for these babies). Sometimes it’s ok to be a helicopter parent – respond to your plant’s needs. To keep the dust off your beautiful indoor plant leaves use The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine. Moral of the story, if it is growing new leaves then it will need more water and food!
