  • Mostly safe, could cause digestive upset if ingested.

Your new Bird of Paradise comes in two sizes and if kept inside can grow up to approximately 3m in height.

Large: 30cm-50cm in height. Planted in a 180mm black nursery pot.

X-Large: 50cm-70cm in height. Planted in a 250mm black nursery pot.

Please note our decorative pots are sold separately.

Care mode

Water your Bird of Paradise regularly, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. It thrives in a bright room with plenty of natural light and can handle some direct sun. Keep those gorgeous leaves dust-free by wiping them down with our Leaf Shine, and don’t forget to fertilise during the warmer months to encourage strong, vibrant growth.

Feeding your indoor plants

To keep your Bird of Paradise looking lush and vibrant, you’ll need to give it a little extra love — and food! The Good Plant Co Indoor Plant Food provides all the essential nutrients this tropical beauty needs to grow those big, bold leaves and stay strong. When it’s actively growing in the warmer months, your Bird of Paradise will crave a bit more food and water. In the cooler months, it takes a well-deserved rest — so ease up on both.

A little TLC goes a long way: wipe its leaves with The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine to keep them glossy and dust-free. Moral of the story? If your Bird of Paradise is sprouting new leaves, it’s hungry and thirsty — feed and water away!

We take great care in growing, packaging, and shipping your new plants so they’re ready to thrive in your home. This includes keeping them safe while they travel from our wholesale nursery to your doorstep.
