Spider Plant Zebrina
Spider Plant Zebrina
The spider plant went to boarding school and came back as me. I'm the Zebrina - a distinct, compact spider plant species with crisp white racing stripes and a tidier, tighter habit than my sprawling cousin. Surprise credential: my species grows wild across northern Australia (plus Africa and Asia) - I'm part local.
Everything else you love about spider plants applies: near-indestructible, fast to please, happy in bright indirect light with water when the topsoil dries. I stay small and neat - shelves, desks and windowsills are my stage.
What you'll get (no surprises):
- Small - 110mm nursery pot, approx 15-20cm
Pets: spider plants are the classic pet-safe pick (cats may still audition me for a snack - I'll survive).
Start me stylish in a Micro Pot in Black and keep my stripes sharp with an occasional feed of Indoor Plant Food.
🌱 One tree planted with every order.

Key attributes
A graceful, weeping, variegated leaved indoor plant that produces long runners which end with small pups of the mother plant. The runners with their pups make the plant look like a spider with legs. The plant is best grown on a shelf or in a hanging basket to allow the hanging pups to be seen.
Your new Spider Plant comes in three sizes and could grow up to approximately 30cm in height.
Small: 15-20cm in height. Planted in a 120mm black nursery pot.
Care mode
Easy plant to care for and grow! Can thrive in medium light and can tolerate some shade. Water regularly, allowing the top of the soil to dry out in between waterings. To promote growth of the plant, remember to remove big pups from the runners. Fertilise in warmer months.
Feeding your indoor plants
To get the best out of your indoor plants, you will need to feed them some food. The Good Plant Co Indoor Plant Food will provide all the nutrients they need to grow more leaves and help them stay strong. When the plant is actively growing during the warmer months, it needs a bit more food and water. During the slow growing season (cooler winter months) your plant doesn’t eat or drink as much (no extra winter layer of fat for these babies). Sometimes it’s ok to be a helicopter parent – respond to your plant’s needs. To keep the dust off your beautiful indoor plant leaves use The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine. Moral of the story, if it is growing new leaves then it will need more water and food!
We take great care in growing, packaging, and shipping your new plants so they’re ready to thrive in your home. This includes keeping them safe while they travel from our wholesale nursery to your doorstep.
