A speckled showstopper reporting for duty. I'm the Dieffenbachia Starbright - narrow leaves splashed and speckled in cream, lime and deep green, and here's the collector's detail: no two of my leaves ever share the same pattern. I'm a limited edition that keeps printing new editions.

Bright, indirect light keeps my starry variegation vivid; let my topsoil dry slightly between drinks. I'm fast, full and reliably the most-asked-about plant in the room.

What you'll get (no surprises):

  • Medium - 140mm nursery pot
  • Large - 200mm nursery pot - fuller, taller, starrier

I arrive in my grower's nursery pot, ready for a stylish upgrade.

Pets & kids: the family nickname is 'dumb cane' for a reason - chewing my sap causes painful mouth swelling. Ornamental only.

Keep the constellation gleaming with Leaf Shine and ground me in a Cooper Pot in White.

🌱 One tree planted with every order.

Medium: 20cm–30cm tall, in a 140mm black nursery pot.

Large: 40cm–70cm tall, flourishing in a 200mm black nursery pot.

Note: Decorative pots sold separately—choose one that complements those stunning leaves.

Care mode

Water consistently, allowing the top few centimetres of soil to dry out between waterings—Dieffenbachia Tropic Marianne enjoys a steady routine without soggy roots. During the growing season (spring and summer), feed monthly to encourage lush foliage and bold colour. In cooler months, reduce watering and feeding as growth slows.

Feeding your indoor plants

To get the best out of your indoor plants, you will need to feed them some food. The Good Plant Co Indoor Plant Food will provide all the nutrients they need to grow more leaves and help them stay strong. When the plant is actively growing during the warmer months, it needs a bit more food and water. During the slow growing season (cooler winter months) your plant doesn’t eat or drink as much (no extra winter layer of fat for these babies). Sometimes it’s ok to be a helicopter parent – respond to your plant’s needs. To keep the dust off your beautiful indoor plant leaves use The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine. Moral of the story, if it is growing new leaves then it will need more water and food!

We take great care in growing, packaging, and shipping your new plants so they’re ready to thrive in your home. This includes keeping them safe while they travel from our wholesale nursery to your doorstep.
