Ficus Yellow Gem
Ficus Yellow Gem
G'day! I'm the Yellow Gem - proudly sporting the green and gold like I'm opening the batting for Australia. (Technically I'm from Southeast Asia, but I've clearly embraced the local colours.)
My lime-and-gold variegated leaves light up a room, and in the wild my species is nicknamed the 'council tree' for the village-sized shade it throws. Indoors, I'll settle for being the best-dressed thing in the corner. Bright, indirect light, water when my topsoil dries, and let me air out between drinks.
What you'll get (no surprises):
- Medium - 140mm nursery pot, approx 20-30cm tall
- Large - 200mm nursery pot, approx 30-50cm tall
I arrive in my grower's nursery pot, ready for a stylish upgrade.
Pets: irritant sap - spectating only.
Polish the gold with The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine and frame me in a Cooper Pot in Black for maximum contrast.
🌱 One tree planted with every order.

Feeding your indoor plants
To get the best out of your indoor plants, you will need to feed them some food. The Good Plant Co Indoor Plant Food will provide all the nutrients they need to grow more leaves and help them stay strong. When the plant is actively growing during the warmer months, it needs a bit more food and water. During the slow growing season (cooler winter months) your plant doesn’t eat or drink as much (no extra winter layer of fat for these babies). Sometimes it’s ok to be a helicopter parent – respond to your plant’s needs. To keep the dust off your beautiful indoor plant leaves use The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine. Moral of the story, if it is growing new leaves then it will need more water and food!
We take great care in growing, packaging, and shipping your new plants so they’re ready to thrive in your home. This includes keeping them safe while they travel from our wholesale nursery to your doorstep.
