Indoor Plant Delivery Brisbane

Ordering indoor plants for Brisbane starts with checking the delivery option for your address. We dispatch from Queensland; packing time comes before courier transit. Here is how to plan your order and receive your plants.

How long does plant delivery take in Brisbane?

We aim to pack orders in under three business days. Standard courier transit to metro addresses typically takes another 3–5 business days after dispatch. Holidays, weather and the destination can affect timing. Confirm regional postcode eligibility before ordering.

In the warmer months we dispatch Monday to Thursday only, which is set out on our shipping page. That is deliberate: a plant that leaves on a Friday can sit in a mailroom or a depot over the weekend, and nothing good happens to a living thing in a box in a Queensland summer.

An order placed early in the week therefore has more of that dispatch window ahead of it than one placed on a Thursday afternoon. We would rather not print a local cut-off day, because the courier leg is out of our hands once the box leaves the packing shed.

Brisbane orders may also be eligible for local drop-off rather than a courier run. That is checked against your address at checkout, so add your details and you will see what applies to you. Full terms, including regional timings, live on our shipping page.

What does it cost to have plants delivered?

Shipping is a flat $30.00 on all orders, shown at checkout before you pay, and it does not scale with the number of plants. One plant or four, the freight line stays the same, which is why a single order of four beats four orders placed across a fortnight. That figure is published on our shipping page, and that page is the version to trust if the two ever disagree.

We do not run “was/now” pricing on plants, and we will not tell you something is selling fast to hurry you along. The price you see is the price.

Which Brisbane addresses can we deliver to?

Enter the recipient’s full street address at checkout to confirm the service available. Standard plant delivery covers metro QLD, NSW, VIC, ACT and SA; we do not currently ship plants to WA, the NT or Tasmania.

We cannot send plants to PO boxes or parcel lockers. Choose an address where the parcel can be brought inside promptly and leave a sheltered delivery location in the order instructions.

For regional eligibility, current service areas and parcel terms, read our shipping information or contact us before paying.

What are the Brisbane drop-off exclusives?

Some plants have local delivery or collection restrictions. Read the selected product’s delivery notes and confirm the option for your address before ordering. The Brisbane delivery collection is a useful place to start.

If you need a particular day, a large palm or a flowering orchid, contact us to check availability and handling arrangements. Do not assume that a local-only plant can travel by standard courier.

How we pack a plant so it arrives alive

We pack and dispatch orders from our Queensland nursery, with care taken to protect the pot and foliage for transport.

Plants travel in their nursery pots, braced so the pot cannot move and the mix cannot spill across the leaves. Packaging is low-waste and plastic-free. Every box includes a printed care card for that specific plant, with its light and water instructions on it, which is the same card bank our online care guides are written from.

When it lands, the first 48 hours matter more than the first month. We wrote a short guide on that: welcoming your new plants home.

What happens if it arrives damaged?

Our plants carry a 30-day guarantee. If yours arrives damaged or unhealthy, email hello@thegoodplantco.com.au promptly with photos and your order number. Keep the plant while we help.

Read the returns and plant guarantee policy for the full terms, including repotting restrictions. If a newly delivered plant looks unwell, contact us before repotting.

Where to start if you are new to us

If you want to see only what can reach a Brisbane address quickly, start with the Brisbane delivery collection. It is the shortest path from browsing to a box on your doorstep.

For a whole room in one order, the Green Your Space Pack is four large plants and four matching pots: a Burgundy Ficus, a Ficus Tineke, a Ficus Ruby and a Peace Lily, with a choice of Jardin or Pierre pots in white or grey. One freight charge, four plants, and a floor plan sorted in an afternoon. It is not the right order for a household with a pet that chews: three of the four are Ficus, which the ASPCA lists as toxic to cats and dogs, and the fourth is a Peace Lily, also ASPCA-listed toxic. RSPCA Australia has the general guidance on plants and pets.

Or browse all our indoor plants and filter by what your room can actually give a plant.

Brisbane plant delivery FAQs

Can you deliver a plant as a gift with a message?

Yes. Add the recipient’s address at checkout and put your message in the notes field, and we will include it. Send it to an address where someone will be home that week rather than an office reception on a Friday, and avoid a PO Box, since we cannot deliver a living plant to one.

Will my plant survive being in a box for a few days?

Plants are packed to protect their pots and foliage in transit, but some temporary weariness is possible. Unpack promptly, check the care card and soil moisture, and water only if needed. Contact us with photos if the plant arrives damaged or does not recover.

Do you deliver to the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast?

Enter the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast delivery address at checkout to confirm the service available. Standard metro courier estimates apply after dispatch; exact timing depends on the address and courier. Confirm eligibility before ordering for regional postcodes.
