Philodendron Birkin

Forget Hermès - I'm the Birkin nobody waitlists you for. Every one of us descends from a single lucky mutation found on a Rojo Congo philodendron: dark leaves hand-pinstriped in white, no two ever alike. Couture, but propagatable.

Collector's honesty: my mutation is famously unstable - occasionally I'll throw a plain green leaf, or even a reddish one, like a limited drop nobody announced. It's not a defect; it's provenance.

Bright, indirect light keeps my pinstripes sharp; water when my topsoil dries. Otherwise, I'm remarkably low-fuss for something this fashionable.

What you'll get (no surprises):

  • Small - 110mm nursery pot, approx 5-10cm
  • Medium - 140mm nursery pot, approx 10-15cm
  • Large - 200mm nursery pot, approx 15-25cm

Pets: haute couture, not hors d'oeuvres - toxic if chewed.

Keep the pinstripes crisp with Leaf Shine and give me the gallery plinth I deserve: a Jardin Terrazzo Pot in White.

🌱 One tree planted with every order.

Feeding your indoor plants

To get the best out of your indoor plants, you will need to feed them some food. The Good Plant Co Indoor Plant Food will provide all the nutrients they need to grow more leaves and help them stay strong. When the plant is actively growing during the warmer months, it needs a bit more food and water. During the slow growing season (cooler winter months) your plant doesn’t eat or drink as much (no extra winter layer of fat for these babies). Sometimes it’s ok to be a helicopter parent – respond to your plant’s needs. To keep the dust off your beautiful indoor plant leaves use The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine. Moral of the story, if it is growing new leaves then it will need more water and food!

We take great care in growing, packaging, and shipping your new plants so they’re ready to thrive in your home. This includes keeping them safe while they travel from our wholesale nursery to your doorstep.
