Kalanchoe (Assorted Colours)
Kalanchoe (Assorted Colours)
Straight outta Madagascar with a bouquet that refuses to quit - I'm the Kalanchoe, a succulent that moonlights as a florist. Pick me in purple, pink, red, white or orange; my clustered blooms run for weeks and my glossy scalloped leaves stay handsome year-round.
Industry secret: growers trigger my flowers by giving me long, dark nights - I'm what botanists call a short-day plant. At home, just give me a bright windowsill, water when my soil dries out, and pinch off spent blooms to encourage encores.
What you'll get (no surprises):
- Small - 110mm nursery pot
- Medium - 140mm nursery pot, approx 20-30cm tall
- Large - 200mm nursery pot
Pets: sadly toxic to cats and dogs if chewed - keep me on high shelves in fur households.
Keep the colour factory running with Indoor Plant Food and match your chosen bloom to a Jardin Terrazzo Pot in Pink.
🌱 One tree planted with every order.

Key attributes
With its striking deep purple leaves, the Kalanchoe Purple is a standout indoor plant that brings a bold splash of color to any room. Its compact, tidy growth makes it perfect for brightening up small spaces, shelves, or tabletops.
The Kalanchoe Purple is available in multiple sizes and can grow up to approximately 30cm indoors:
Medium: 20cm–30cm in height, in a 140mm black nursery pot. (Decorative pots are sold separately.)
Care mode
Water moderately, letting the soil dry out well between waterings — Kalanchoe Purple prefers a drier approach and is quite forgiving if you occasionally forget. Fertilise during the warmer months to encourage vibrant growth and maintain its rich purple hues.
Feeding your indoor plants
To keep your Kalanchoe Purple looking its best, it’s important to give it the right nutrients. The Good Plant Co Indoor Plant Food is the perfect choice, providing all the essentials to support strong, healthy growth and keep those stunning purple leaves vibrant. During the warmer months, when your Kalanchoe is actively growing, it will enjoy a bit more feeding and watering. In winter, it slows down and needs less. Watch for new growth — that’s your cue to give it an extra boost. For an added touch of care, gently wipe the leaves with The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine to keep them clean and glossy.
We take great care in growing, packaging, and shipping your new plants so they’re ready to thrive in your home. This includes keeping them safe while they travel from our wholesale nursery to your doorstep.
