Phalaenopsis Orchid
Phalaenopsis Orchid
My name means 'moth-like' - a nineteenth-century botanist saw my flowers and thought a flock of moths had landed mid-flight. I'm the Phalaenopsis Orchid, and each of my blooms holds that pose for two to three months. Cut flowers could never, and deep down they know it.
I'm the easiest orchid there is: bright, indirect light (no harsh sun), a thorough drink about once a week when my roots turn silvery, and please don't drown me - I'm an epiphyte; my roots like air. When my flowers finally finish, don't toss me - trim the spike and I'll often bloom again.
What you'll get (no surprises):
- Small - 110mm nursery pot, approx 25-40cm tall including flower spike
- Medium - 140mm nursery pot, approx 45-60cm tall including flower spike
Pets: pet-friendly - safe to gift to any household, whiskers included.
Encourage encore blooms with a gentle feed of Indoor Plant Food, and elevate the gift in a Lunaire Ceramic Pot in White.
🌱 One tree planted with every order - a gift that gives twice.

Feeding your indoor plants
To keep your Phalaenopsis Orchid thriving, it’s essential to provide the right nutrients. The Good Plant Co Indoor Plant Food is ideal for supporting its vibrant blooms and lush foliage. During the warmer months, when growth is most active, your orchid will benefit from regular feeding and watering. In cooler months, its growth slows, so it needs less. Watch for signs like new buds or leaves to give it a little extra care. To keep your Phalaenopsis Orchid looking stunning, gently clean its leaves with The Good Plant Co Leaf Shine for a polished, healthy glow.
We take great care in growing, packaging, and shipping your new plants so they’re ready to thrive in your home. This includes keeping them safe while they travel from our wholesale nursery to your doorstep.
