Sansevieria Hahnii
Sansevieria Hahnii
Every single one of me descends from one plant. In 1939, at a New Orleans nursery, a regular snake plant produced one strange, compact rosette mutation - a Mr Sylvan Hahn spotted it, patented it, and here I am generations later: the Sansevieria Hahnii, the snake plant that coiled itself into a neat little nest and never looked back.
I keep all the family superpowers in travel size: I tolerate low light, shrug off dry air, and prefer my waterings rare - let my soil dry out completely between drinks. Desks, shelves, windowsills, bathrooms: I fit everywhere and complain nowhere.
What you'll get (no surprises):
- One size - a compact rosette, typically 12-20cm, in its grower's nursery pot
Pets: small but still a snake plant - mildly toxic if chewed.
Check yourself before you water me - a Moisture Meter keeps you honest - and gild my nest with a Laiton Brass Pot in Gold.
